Updates and the 27 Club

The UK's Sun newspaper, tabloid really, has published an article that states Amy Winehouse died of "a sudden shock that caused a stroke, due to alcohol withdrawal symptoms". Yes, you heard that right! Amy's sudden decision to stop drinking took its toll on her 4 foot 11 inch body, according to the controversial news media figure, Rupert Murdoch's one and only Sun.

While this has not been proven to be fact by officials, and although it sounds a bit ridiculous, it is the only thing out there right now that points to how Amy may have come to pass.

In other news, Amy Winehouse is now part of the infamous 27 Club. Joining scores of other unfortunate musicians who have died at the relatively young age of 27. The other members of this "club" include great artists like Jimi Hendrix, Curt Cobain and Janis Joplin.

The odd thing about the 27 club is the mysteriousness surrounding the death of some of its members, either tragic circumstances like suicide by shotgun or drowning in a swimming pool or asphyxiation by vomit. The rest of the members of the 27 club did not die in tragic or odd manners, although they all did pass at the age of 27 and were all musicians... all this attributing this phenomena curse status!

The London Met have stated that initial autopsy reveals no evidence of how Amy may have passed.

The soulful singers boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, claims Amy was in good spirits the past few days prior to her passing. He said that Amy had been excited to attend a friends wedding on Sunday.

Further inquiries into her passing will take place some time in October this year.

Her passing appears to be mysterious, with rumours and conspiracy circulating the Internet. Some have attributed Rupert Murdoch having a hand in the death of a young woman who, albeit her afflictions, appeared to be healthy in the days before her passing.

Her fans are eager to know what has happened to her, but for now looks like we all have to wait to find out more.

Rest In Peace Amy Winehouse

On 23rd July 2011, Amy Winehouse tragically passed away.

The London Met have not conclusively deduced the cause of her death. Although rumors are spreading that she had overdosed on narcotics.

Sadly, however, the immeasurably gifted singer is unlikely to be remembered for her talents, which were so often starved; drowned by drink and tranquillised by drug abuse.

She was 27 years. Rest In Peace, Amy.
